Lanvin launches kidswear for Resort SS’12

As part of their Resort collection, Lanvin (under Alber Albaz) official launched a kidswear collection for SS’12.

These really cute pieces, with all the signature Lanvin colours of red and nudes, together with exquisite detailing such as large silk bows, pearl necklace detailing, silk tulle underskirts and corsages, look exactly like scaled down miniature versions of the womenswear collection. There is no doubt the craftsmanship is equally as excellent as the designs.

(I wonder if the price point is just as high as the women’s collection?…)

Photographed on these energetic, cheeky, smiling kids, they all look like they have been playing dress-up in their mum’s/sister’s closets…. erm except they are wearing beautiful pieces that actually fit them and are not oversized….

The dolls and teddy bears are just as cute as the dresses themselves – the dolls faces like exactly like Alber Elbaz’s sketches of the women in his designs and on his t-shirts!
