Bergdorf Goodman’s tribute windows to “Savage Beauty”

To commemorate the Alexander McQueen “Savage Beauty” exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Renowned high fashion retailer Bergdorf Goodman (the Harvey Nichols of New York) dedicated the whole of their Fifth Avenue windows to a beautiful display of McQueen archive pieces.
These were beautifully dramatic windows, many of which encapsulate the essence of that particular collection featured within it. Although a couple of them seemed too crowded and overworked for me. In my opinion, the most successful of these are the “Plato’s Atlantis” window (above) , and “The Horn of Plenty” window with the giant red eagle wings was really captivating.
There were a couple of lovely accessories windows too, featuring the now signature McQueen “Skull Box Clutch” and “Knuckle Box Clutch” bags:
